It's been a long ol' 10-year wait for loyal The Corrs fans to see them live.
They were one of the biggest bands of the late 90s, with second record Talk on Corners eclipsing some pop heavyweights in the charts in 1997.
And the opening sequence – a clever silhouette projected over the width of the stage, of Caroline Corr drumming – built them up perfectly.
Therefore, it was an odd choice to open the set with What I Like from the new album White Light.
But, obviously well aware a huge chunk of the crowd in the arena were there to delve into their pop music past, Give Me A Reason swiftly followed. And the set continued to deliver a blend of nostalgia and new material.
Dressed in signature black - Andrea, 41, Sharon, 45, Caroline, 42, and 50-year-old Jim – are blessed with genes which seem to render them immune to ageing, as they all still looked the mirror image of that iconic Talk on Corners CD cover.
Instrumentals are intrinsic to The Corrs, with every song including an Irish riff, whether it be from Sharon's violin or Andrea's whistle.
This is mainly because above all else, they are superb musicians. Midway through the set, we were treated to a Lough Erin Shore /Trout in the Bath/Joy of Life medley, where Caroline abandoned her drums to play the bodhran and play some beats on a drum she was sitting on. It was like thousands of us had been invited to a Corrs jam session in their living room.
Andrea's main instrument may be her voice but she is an equally good whistle player. The Corr household must have been a noisy place as they grew up, that's for sure.
The beautiful Runaway was a crowd favourite and Caroline (who was now playing the keyboard) banished any memories of that infamous 1999 MTV Unplugged live recording where she missed the last note.
For hardcore fans, there must have been several fist pumps of appreciation of her perfect playing tonight.
They didn't just stick to singles, dipping into strong album numbers such as Queen of Hollywood.
The band went all political on us with new track Ellis Island, which touches on issues such as emigration but it was an important song for them – and us, as it turned out.
The opening violin bars of Dreams were enough to make the arena whoop with delight.
Proud of their songwriting and originality, single sales prove they chose well with the Fleetwood Mac cover and it had been re-arranged for the tour, to keep it fresh after almost 20 years.
Andrea, clearly relishing the band's re-emergence in the spotlight, floated, skipped and spun around the stage like a fairy throughout.
Long before Adele and Ed Sheeran penned break-up songs, Never Loved You Anyway is effectively one big middle finger to the ex. But unlike Adele and co, it's an upbeat, fun track and unmistakably, The Corrs.( Apunte personal: es la primera vez que veo una defensa de la banda en una crítica frente a las modas actuales.)
Andrea thanked their support act for the tour (excellent British country duo The Shires) during the three-song encore which included poppy Breathless and they fittingly played us out with instrumental Toss the Feathers.

Bueeeno ( ), de lo que hay en negrita FIngolfin75, se deduce que temas de ruptura como I never loved you anyway aparecieron en la música mucho antes que encontraran su fama Adele o Ed Sheeran. Que I never loved you anyway es un buen:
a tu ex.
